Rules & Regulations

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE STUDENTS

01 Monthly haircuts and daily clean shaves have to be done by boys.
02 Nails must be trimmed weekly. Boys and girls are not allowed to grow their nails.
03 Daily baths are compulsory for all students.
04 . Shirt buttons should not be kept open, and the shirt must be tucked in properly, irrespective of the dress (i.e., uniform or coloured dress). Belts must be worn tightly and visibly.
05 Personal hygiene must be maintained.
06 Dyeing of hair or using hair gel is not permitted.
07 Hairstyle should be according to the norms of the school.
08 Designs, lines, arts, writings, patchings, paintings, or pictures on paints or shirts are not allowed.
09 Girl students should tie their hair in a double plait.
10 No ponytails or loose hair is allowed in the school campus.
11 Students are not allowed to wear gold ornaments or any other the school and are not allowed to bring any electronic items to the school.
12 Children are not allowed to bring and use mobile phones on the campus.
13 Wearing uniforms during school hours is compulsory.
14 No low-waist pants should be permitted on campus.
15 Alteration in stitching uniforms will not be allowed.
16 Using coloured contact lenses is strictly prohibited.
17 Bringing or using chewing gums, pan parag, alcohol, tobacco products, drugs, soft drinks, or eatables, etc., on the school campus is strictly prohibited.
18 Tattooing is strictly prohibited. We agree to abide by the above instructions
DISCIPLINE :
The school insists on punctuality, regular attendance, obedience to teachers, cleanliness, and fidelity to study. Late coming is not permitted. It is expected that pupils, their parents/guardians, and the members of their families will imbibe the message of our School, and that each child will become an ideal student. We hope that no disciplinary action will need to be taken against any child. However, indiscipline will be nipped in the bud. Disciplinary action, including dismissal, will to be resorted to only if a student's conduct and character are found to be harmful to others. Immoral action, grave insubordination, contempt of authorities, and wilful damage will not be tolerated to school properties or properties of others are sufficient reasons for dismissal.
The principle will be the authority to take disciplinary action including Day dismissal of students with the approval of chairman/managing director.
Pupils who absent themselves from the class not on medical grounds for 7 working days consecutively and defaulters of tuition fees for 30 working days will be removed from the rolls.

RULES OF DISCIPLINE

Every student must obey the following rules of discipline.
01 All must come to school on time. Latecomers will have to get written permission from the Principal.
02 Students must come to school in clean, neat, and proper dress.
03 Uniform is compulsory and should be strictly in accordance with the pattern prescribed by the school.
04 All are expected to speak English & hindi in the school premises and in the school vehicles.
05 No CD, DVD, USB memory, iPod, or books other than textbooks and notebooks should be brought to school.
06 Students are not permitted to entertain teachers with gifts.
07 Students shall not bring any eatables other than regular meals.
08 Students who fail twice in the same class will have to leave the school.
09 Pupils who absent themselves from an examination for any reason will not be re- examined.
10 Every student is responsible for the safe custody of his/her belongings. The school will not be responsible for the loss of any belongings. Ornaments and jewellery of any kind are not allowed in the school. Pupils are advised not to bring big amounts of money to school.
11 Students are not allowed to bring/use mobile phones in the school campus for any reason. A fine of Rs. 1000/-will be charged if found violating this rule. For all other types of rules violations, cash penalties will be decided as and when required.
12 The classrooms, the school building, and premises should be kept clean and tidy. Any damage caused to properties of the school and others will have to be made good. Damage caused even by accident should be reported to the school authorities.
13 . For entries in the Progress Report and remarks in the School Diary as well as for any other communication intended for parents, a student must obtain his/her parent's acknowledgement within three days.
14 It is expected that the pupils will imbibe the message of our SCHOOL and that each child will try his/her best to become an exemplary student. We agree to abide by the above Rules of Discipline.

Attendance:

01 A student must have put in a minimum of 85% of attendance for promotion to the higher class. Shortage of 15% can be condoned by the Principal on medical grounds. Shortage beyond this limit will not be condoned.

LEAVE OF ABSENCE:

01 Any absence must be explained in the form of a leave note on the page provided for this purpose in the Diary, and it must be signed by the parent and should be countersigned by the Principal.
02 Pupils who absent themselves from school without permission for more than 15 consecutive working days will be removed from the rolls.
